時間過得真快....去年匆匆忙忙....發生了很多事......趕著辦完了我們的婚禮... 三個星期後就是華人的農曆新年....

因為要趕兩邊吃團圓飯,這次我和我的姊妹決定除夕在娘家吃 reunion lunch, 晚上就在in–law 的家吃reunion dinner

Reunion dinner 由Father-in-law親自下廚烹飪,

真正的菜名其實我也不曉得, 以下是我自己給它們的菜名

有鮮美好吃的

紅醬蝦 ( 蝦很新鮮, 肉有彈性, 醬是Father-in-law用買來的醬料加了一些調味做好的,吃起來像是番茄味帶一點辣)

人月牌鮑魚片花姑扒生菜 (用從NTUC 買回來的罐頭鮑魚:New Moon NZ premium grade)

紅酒配新年佳餚,大家都吃得很開心!

初一

到一個親戚家(很多人聚在一起吃buffet還有ah ma做的"超好吃的薄餅"), 過後回娘家拜年

我們為可愛的niece拍了很多照片,她表情多多,最喜歡她開心的笑容:p

我也終於如願以償,和她拍了合照

初二

到另一個親戚家吃魚生與buffet...

吃完後看電視,我拿著手機拍了一些照片

哈哈,我們也吃了很多新年cookies & snacks

這個Jelly Cheese cake很好吃 (聽說是在Downtown East 的 Emicakes 買的)

紅色的Jelly是帶甜與一點黏性但味道蠻好的

突然想起, 小妹曾提起的她的女兒Charlotte去年底一歲Celebration上的蛋糕也是在Emicakes 買的,我們吃了也是覺得很好吃...

膀晚我們去Marina Square 看電影:蘇乞兒(True Legend)

趙文卓的功夫場面挺不錯但總覺得有周杰倫出場的部分有點悶(可能每次他出現的時候,為了配合不會功夫的他,功夫場面會打得比較慢, 結果看起來很假), 戲裡三個中國演員(趙文卓, 周迅 還有演蘇起兒兒子的小演員)最搶鏡,

本來演大壞人:袁烈的安志杰表現也不賴, 但很快就被蘇燦(蘇乞兒)打死了,未免太容易了吧

總結:這部戲平平,不是特別好看(可能是劇情不夠吸引人吧)

過後我們到春到河畔(River Hongbao) 走走

不過這次春到河畔的規模感覺很小(去年比較大),雖然人很多,但走一圈就走完了,所以有點失望...

我們很累,一直待在家裡休息,直到徬晚才到Orchard 吃晚餐, 過後到Orchard Central頂樓拍照(去年底來的時候,帶的照相機不大能拍夜景,結果拍到很不清晰,所以這次再來希望能拍到周圍幽美的夜色)

可是今天水池旁的燈光太暗了,好不容易才拍到幾張照片

人也比平時少,沒人幫我們合照

還好在這裡有地方可以放相機,set timer to take photo,總算有一張合照了:p

Me & my two sis dropby this Ambush Fast Casual European Dining located at basement 2 Takashimaya foodcourt after shopping around to rest our tired legs & have a drink…

Two stalls under same boss, one with name “Ambush” as shown below sells foods such as spagetti, salad etc

another stall opposite  with name “Swiss German Sausage bar” sells all types of sausage eg Beer sausage, Spicy pork, BBQ Hunter, French Chicken Garlic etc

All three of us try different drink, namely,

Pearl of Orient

Chamomile

Morrocan Mint

Pearl of Orient taste the best, Chamomile taste quite alright, haha as for Morrocan Mint feel its taste exactly like those peppermint chewing gum….

We also try its salmon salad ( finished within a short while as taste yummy specially love its salad sauce:honey mustand dressing, taste great! )

sausage platter:sauerkraut(咸菜), potato & sausage~ all taste great as well, specially like the “potato prata”(duNo the actual name for this fried shredded potato)

Had went to try this Sun with Moon Japanese Dining last year (2009) near Christmas time at Wheelock Place branch as been recommended by an couple friend, saying ambient & food there not bad…..Just happen I got a 15% discount coupon so we go try eat…now then blog as damn busy that time….

Yes the restaurant look great with nice decoration & I’m happy as think of able to take many nice photos while eating there. But when we flashes the discount voucher, we are bring to another smaller room at a corner which already have some customer there, inside the room, decoration not as nice as the main one. According to the waitress those with discount voucher has to sit in this smaller room….

The room is quite dark very difficult to take photos but I still manage to take pictures of the food after many tries & resolution of photos are quite bad lor

we order the following dishes,

Tonkotsu Ramen ~ $15.80

Tonkatsu Tamago Toji & Tofu salad ~ $18.80

(try many times still can’t capture by my camera as too dark so can only capture picture on the food menu book…hee)

Gyu Sukiyaki ~ $17.80

Total bill : $54.25 after the 15% discount

Food taste actually not bad & quite yummy, comparable to Sushi Tei just that price abit more expensive & serving is quite little…. we both not full after finish eating so we go eat some snack after that…..

While on way back, since kena jam on Orchard road & quite bored so took some Christmas lighting photos while waiting in car……

 

 

Today go meet dear friend Serene for lunch at Suntec. We been wanna meetup to have this lunch promotion together at Waraku she been “大力推荐”as she had tried before feel not bad. As we both busy with own wedding preparation (hers on 3 Jan 2010 while mine on 23 Jan 2010)……. so we delayed til now then have the lunch together today :p……

We walk to the one at Marina branch, both order the $9.80++ lunch special which come with a free drink (choice: coke, sprite, green tea or ice lemon tea), quite a good deal but only valid for weekday (Mon to Fri)

We both choose Katsu + Soba (I take sprite while she has Coke)

Soba actually not a lot, just little mee & not much ingredients…

but Katsu is more, quantity quite alright…

after eating both of us very full….

Total bill: S$23.07 so cost each of us around S$11.50

Oops we both too busy eating & chatting forget to take photos together…hee

After that Serene hurry back to her office while I walk walk abit before making way back….

btw it’s really great to meetup with dear fren again :p

Had watch 『Law abiding Citizen 』 & feel this movie not bad.

The main actor of this movie, Gerald Butler, is the muscular big size guy that cast as King Leonidas in the famous movie in 2006 called『300』

He really acts well in this movie to show the extreme a man can do when been force till the end & desperate….

Clyde Shelton, is a poor unlucky guy whose wife & daughter been brutally murdered during a home invasion by two robbers ( one is super evil & 最该万死) . But the stupid & selfish prosecutor (cast by Jamie Foxx), Nice Rice, which is assigned to the case, offers that most evil suspect a light sentence (just a few years in jail) with the accomplice taking all the blame to face death sentence

Really feel sad for Clyde when his helpless & hopeless eye looking at Nick, which simply ignore his request to testify against the super evil robber. Sometimes the so-called Law is really no justice. 

After many years, Clyde re-appear & 绝望 has converted him to a super calm & but cruel guy which plan a series of spectacularly diabolical assassinations to avenge his lost loves (wife & daughter) .And then Clyde’s expression has become so calm, confident & smart.(like a totally different person as what he is before)

Really feel good & “大快人心” When Clyde make the judge make a fool of herself using his law knowledge & when the super evil robber kena killed, (but the way he killed the evil robber is abit cruel & that scene I cover my face as don’t dare to see clearly)

But after the evil robber is killed, his still carry out a series of assassinations which cause death of innocent people….he is like falling into a 无法自拔 stage which he has to keep killing people to keep himself living as there is nonething left in the world he can long for as his loves ones already dead, finally he get 解脱 when kena killed when bomb explode during the movie end…..

Another movie which how a person doing can indirectly cause another person to do horrible thing which leads to tragedy…..  

Yesterday, quickly rush to Tampines catch 『20th Century Boys Chapter 3』at 9:15pm as afraid it may stop filming soon …been busy with wedding preparation then short trip to Msia…….

We’ve been faithful follower for this movie since its part 1 showing at year 2008…just “desperately” want clear our doubt on who is “Friend”…hee

As what we expected, it’s turn out to be that “Fukubei” that appear during the school gathering at part 1… when we thought we are very clever & smart, then story unveiled more….

We both feel the ending is very good, at least it explained exactly what happen & why with everything from Part 1 to 3 (final) get linked up….A great & fantastic movie!

After watching, I feel abit sorry for this fake “Fukubei” (the real Fukubei actually had already died when still a kid at middle school) , he is actually a very clever brilliant kid called Katsumata. But he is simply too shy & quiet that always wear a mask. No one believe him when been wrongly accused or beaten up by mistake. He is just a lonely kid which has no friends, so he don’t even bother to clarify when been wrongly mistaken as “Fukubei” as no one really notice his existence.

Even Kenji also don’t know who “this fake Fukubei” really is when he apologise to him during his death. After that, Kenji slowly think & recall then realise it’s his “年少无知”mistake that indirectly cause Katsumata to become a “devil” when grow up.

It’s a mistake by Kenji when kid to cause Katsumata to be wrongly accused, causing 怨恨 in him, accumulate till “very big” that he come out with this horrible “孩子气”plan to destroy mankind, as he feel no one in the world like him. He must be a very smart, talented  guy which can invent the deadly virus himself, this part III has explained that he is very good in Science when in school as kid.

Btw I also feel Katsumata quite good looking when kid, don’t know why he always hide under mask to cover his face….so may be if Kenji & gang make friends with him when kid & 开导 him, maybe he will think more positive & the tragedy of innocent people sacrificed by the deadly virus can be prevented……

So Morale of the story, be kind don’t be too meant to others due to their outlook or watever,

& for those which is too shy & quiet, try to open up & speak out :)
