When our long waiting 『Iron Man 2』movie launch,  we are very excited & quickly go catch it…..after watching its part 1 last year, we are very amazed by its cool visual effect & how high tech is Tony Shark (casted by Robert Downey JR ) house, his working robots & the iron man robot armor suit he is wearing…..we been looking forward for this part 2

so yesterday, fri, we quickly browse through the movie website, planning to book a ticket for tomorrow which happen to be labour day & also his birthday…… initially plan to catch it on at big cinema: GV Max at Vivocity as bigger screen &more shiok ……but all are either fully taken or seats left is very front row all the way to midnite! so we decided to catch it at Downtown East which is nearer…. but this movie is super hot….Cathay tickets also selling like hot cake & left either only 1st two rows or only have slots at smaller cinema…& the cathay movie website are damn slow….due to heavy traffic..

but lucky we manage to grab a central couple seat at bigger cinema at DownEast. As the movie time is 2.10am which mean its already next day & its on Labour day when we catch it.

And when I checked through my old blog later, I realised last year we also catch Iron man at Downtown East on midnite, so also happen to fall on next day which is also Labour day! …so 巧 one!

This round, has two attractive female actress, Gwyneth Paltrow as usual as Pepper Potts & also Scarlett Johansson as an secret agent, Natalie Rushman / Natasha Romanoff……

In this part 2, Tony Shark  has new enemies, the bad government officials, Senator Stern (casted by Garry Shandling) & Justin Hammer (casted by Sam Rockwell) which try to force him to share his technology with the military

And also another enemy, a Russian brilliant physicist, Ivan Vanko (casted by Mickey Rourke) which want to seek revenge on him which he believed that Tony Shark’s dad, Howard Stark has 陷害 his dad which was one of the top physicist ….

Ivan Vanko has created the wielding energy whips (as shown below) is very powerful

and at this time, Tony Shark  realise that the magnetic chest plate (glowing Arc Reactor shown on his chest in picture below) which he had invent to keep himself alive also poisoning himself ……..& his toxicity level is getting higher each day & may died soon…..

worst thing is going to happen when Justin Hammer rescue Ivan Vanko from jail as to get him to join as allies against Tony Shark

but lucky he has his best friend, Lt. Col. James Rhodes (casted by Don Cheadle, but in Part 1 is casted by another actor, Terrence Howard) to partner him to fight his enemy….

and also Nick fury (casted by Sam Jackson), Agent of S.H.E.L.D

which help Tony Shark to “figure” out how how to contruct a better technology to keep himself alive using stuffs Howard Stark has left for his son to continue…..

he is also the one that send the secret agent, Natalie Rushman to help Tony Shark

Overal, although feel that its not as fantastic as Part1 but still a great show worth to watch!

Last week watched this action packed & science fiction thriller film 『GAMER』, another movie by Gerald Butler again…

starting to know this muscular “King Leonidas” in the historically-inspired comic-based 『300』  , then a helpless guy with “无助的眼神”turn into “calm but ruthless” man in『Law abiding Citizen 』recently…

This is another movie about future….unlucky ones will have computer devices implanted in the brains &  been controlled by another human as any online game character…..

Kable (casted by Gerard Butler) is one of those, death row prisoner which been forced to participate in a massive multiplayer online game called "Slayers"…..Those that go through all 30 matches of the game without get killed will be granted full pardon…….

Kable which is controlled by a 17-year old gamer, Simon (casted by Logan Lerman)

in the slayer game, he is super calm &  he has managed to survive through 27 matches…..The slayer background is like those violent digital game background where players have to avoid gunshots that will blown up their head, trunks running over them or bombs…..

,  while reaches the 30 matches, Kable urges Logan to release control to him……then he managed to enter “restricted zone” & escape with his wife ( which also been under controlled by the chip in the brain)

……..story unfolded that Kable is actually been framed by Ken Castle (casted by Michael C. Hall) which installed chip on him to control his to kill his own friend unwillingly….he also super bad by creating those game & chip……

lastly, he also attempt to force Kable to kill own daughter by controlled him……

Overall not bad can watch….

Just watch 『Daybreakers』 over weekend…….this movie not too bad….. just that it also have many “bloody” & “ugly creature” scenes as related to vampires :(

Imagine in a future when a pandemic disease has turned most of the world population to vampires. Everyone you see on the streets are Vampires…..they are professionals working, they has car equipped with daylight protection………. while human are hiding, living in fear that they will be hunted down for their blood….

A pharmaceutical company run by Charles Bromley, (cast by Sam Neill) which make money by supply blood via human captured by them …..as the Human species is getting lesser, need for blood becomes desperate ….vampires, if deprived from blood for a period will be degenerated into subsiders (an ugly bat-like creature) …..

hematologists,  Edward Dalton (cast by Ethan Hawke) & Chris Caruso (cast by Vince Colosimo) are using those human harvested in laboratory to do research for blood substitute under pressure from Charles ………

Edward Dalton is a kind-hearted hematologist, which refuse to drink human blood & he has a strained relationship with his brother, Frankie which is a human-hunting soldier…..Edward has been unrelunctently forced to become a vampires when his brother Frankie betrayed & bites him to turn him into one….

One nite, Edward help a group of human led by Audrey (cast by Claudia Karvan) to hide & escape from vampire patrols. After that Audrey bring Edward to meet Elvis (cast by Willem Dafoe), a man cured of vampirism by brief exposure to sunlight…in hope that Edward can duplicate this effect & cured the whole world…… Edward is successful & cured himself ….

Edward go look for Chris, hoping him can help spread the cure…

but Chris has finally discovered a viable blood-substitute & he betrayed Edward by calling in a vampire patrol…..end up Audrey is captured while Elvis and Edward escape into hiding…..they are found by Frankie…..Elvis is attacked by Frankie which has almost become subsiders (as human blood is running low, many vampires in the society have turn into subsiders)….but end up they discover that feeding on a former vampire is another cure for vampirism as Frankie turn human after he bites Elvis…..Edward go look for Charles Bromley, want him to release Audrey but Charles is evil, he don’t want the cure to become widespread as he want earn money by selling the viable blood-substitute …..

haha shall not disclose the ending for those which are interested to watch…..

Just watch this 『Ninja Assassin』 casted by the famous Korean single eyelid actor cum singer: Rain….a very bloody movie…….

hmmm feel its abit like those PS3 or Xbox game: Ninja Gaiden where ninja uses a sword keep slashing enemies & red blood gushing all over the places…..

Rain has the height & very fit body build but he is really not handsome lor…..

story about a Ozunu clan that adopt orphans & train them since childhood into group of cold-blooded & ruthless ninja assassin…… one of them, Raizo (cast by Rain) manage to run away from them …..He keep training himself to get ready for the long-awaited bloody reunion with his former master to seek revenge for heartless murder of a kind girl which always been helping & encourage him since childhood in the clan……more for a guy movie that enjoy violent movies or the Ninja Gaiden game…..I don’t really enjoy much as most of the time I watch through my 手指缝中as can’t help but keep cover eyes with hand as really can’t stand those many horrible bloody scenes with head chopped off, blood spilling around …:(
